A relaxing evening out can create memories that last long after the meal is over, especially when good company and a sense of humor are part of the experience. One cheerful tale begins with three little pigs who decide to enjoy dinner together at a cozy neighborhood restaurant. Looking forward to a pleasant night, they settle into their booth and eagerly browse the menu while chatting and laughing. Everything seems perfectly ordinary—until one of their drink orders sparks the waiter’s curiosity.
When it came time to order beverages, the first pig chose a refreshing lemon-lime soda, while the second selected a classic cola. The third pig, however, politely requested nothing but water—and not just a glass, but “lots and lots of water.” The waiter found the request unusual but happily brought the drinks to the table. Later, as entrée orders were placed, the first pig enjoyed a hearty steak and the second picked a fresh salad. Once again, the third pig skipped everything except another generous serving of water, leaving the waiter even more puzzled.
As the evening continued, everyone enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and satisfying meal. When dessert arrived, the first pig ordered a delicious banana split, and the second treated himself to a root beer float. True to form, the third pig smiled and asked for yet another large serving of water. By this point, the waiter could no longer hide his curiosity. After politely serving the final round, he couldn’t resist asking why someone would spend an entire evening drinking only water.
The third pig leaned forward with a playful smile and finally revealed the reason. “Because somebody has to go ‘wee, wee, wee’ all the way home!” The unexpected twist brought laughter to everyone at the table, including the waiter, who appreciated the clever nod to the classic nursery rhyme. Sometimes the best stories are the simplest ones, reminding us that a little humor, shared with friends over a meal, can turn an ordinary evening into a memorable one.
