In the morning hours of March 30, 2017, a tractor caught fire while driving on federal highway 35 in Rohrendorf. With the presence of mind, the driver steered his tractor to the side of the road onto an embankment and left his vehicle. Shortly after 7 a.m., the emergency call was received by the district alarm center in Krems. The Rohrendorf and Theiss fire brigades were immediately alerted to the fire. Link to report -
