Update 2022: This video is getting lots of views, so thought I would elaborate. We were stationed at Hickam AFB at the time (now Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam) and it was quite common for those of us with authorized access to military facilities to be able to tour various ships and carriers and to observe planes and flightlines. My husband and I took advantage of every one of these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Thankfully we did, as ALL OF THIS CHANGED two days after this video was shot on 9/9/2001. I apologize for the video quality, but technology was basic back in the day!
